Our Story
Short Dog Jewelry - what kind of a name is that? If you had seen my two dogs at the time of naming, you TOTALLY would have understood. Corgi's - Vinny and Louie to be exact, knee-high to nothing, and the most awesome dogs ever! We now have KOA - What an angel (NOT a short dog) LOL

Well, Short Dog Jewelry came about after a family move from Sarasota, FL to St. Augustine, FL. A Florida native, mother of two boys, and a realtor since 1994 settling in the oldest city in the United States. "I am a gulf coast girl with east coast digs!" This move brought about a creative side of me that I had not felt before, and a need to create more than ever before.
A creative soul already, I had always had a love affair with music, crafts, and sports. Once the kids were grown (yippee!) and after YouTubing (Yes, YouTube) how to do basic Jewelry items, Short Dog Jewelry Design was born in 2014. A continued search and learning of new concepts, ideas, and metalsmithing became a part of my life.

I can't imagine not creating at this point and time and hope that my creations bring you joy while you peruse my little online store.
