Our pendants and medals are hand soldered and antiqued. The chains are meticulously beaded by myself and consist of either high quality semi-precious and precious gemstones, bone, and fair trade glass and metal beads. Such as Diamonds, Sapphires, Labradorite, Moonstones, Rubies, Emeralds, Pearls, Turquoise, and many other Natural Gemstones and Earth Elements to include Animal Bones and Horns at times. All Gemstones, Natural or Animal Products are Ethically Sourced to provide that no harm has been caused to any Animals or Humans.
Care: To clean your jewelry, use a damp cloth, and gently wipe away debris or dirt. A Soft Toothbrush and Water is sufficient to clean Diamond and other gemstones, silver, and other beads; DO NOT use solvents, Cleaning Cloths or Sonic type Chemicals or Machines ..... As they may cause damage and/or loosening of the gemstones and metals. Opal and Pearl Beads should NEVER be submerged in Water ..... Be gentle with your jewelry, store in separate boxes. Handle with care, dropping a piece on the floor can cause the stones to crack, and potential/irreversible loss of stones. Remember - this is not costume jewelry.

With proper care of your Short Dog Jewelry, you can extend the length of the Plating and Rhodium and it could last for years. Highlighted below are recommended tips on how to care for your pieces.
Care: we recommend not expose your jewelry to water, cleaning solvents, or other chemicals as it will affect the color and finish of the product. Sweat also affects the finish of your gold-plated items so it would be best to remove them if you are going to work out or exposed to the sun for the entire day.
After showering and if you are using lotion, or any other body product, wait until your product is completely dry before putting on your gold-plated accessories. Some products can have a negative reaction and can cause changes in color or texture.
Always apply perfume before putting on your jewelry. Perfume chemicals can react with the metal whether Gold or Silver and cause a change in the appearance, so you don’t want to spray it directly on your pieces!
Don't sleep, shower or do the dishes in your jewelry.
